Medicare
Adelman Health accepts original Medicare Part B & Hamaspik Medicare. Medicare covers 80% of the visit charge AFTER an annual deductible has been met, typically around $230. The remaining 20% is the patient's responsibility and is often covered by supplemental plans such as AARP or Globe Life Insurance. Adelman Health does NOT accept other insurances and patients are required to sign at their first visit that they understand that Medicaid does not cover the 20% copay.
Self Pay
For patients who have commercial insurance, managed medicaid, no insurance, or a Medicare Advantage Plan (Part C or also referred to as Managed Medicare) such as United Healthcare Medicare, Aetna Medicare, Humana, MVP, Wellcare, and AARP Medicare we accept cash, check, credit card, or Zelle. We also accept HSA card and can provide a detailed receipt if needed. Often a patient can be reimbursed for a visit if they submit a receipt with diagnosis and procedure codes to their insurance company.
Each patient is seen and examined according to their symptoms. If prescriptions for medication, blood work, imaging studies, PT/OT/speech therapy, or medical supplies are required they will be provided as part of the visit at no extra charge.
